Senior Golang Developer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Golang Developer geographically located in Canada to join our team and significantly contribute to one of our major projects for a top-tier tech client. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications and collaborating with a dynamic team to create an exceptional user experience.

Responsabilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Golang web applications.
Work closely with product, design, and development teams to understand and translate requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Implement and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party services and platforms.
Share your knowledge and experience to mentor junior developers and foster their growth.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive.
Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Golang development, including experience with most popular frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego and/or Gorilla, etc.
Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience working with relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of PHP is also a big plus.
